– emergency ward 24h/24 7d/7 opening : the team is for the moment composed of a doctor and a nurse only (= a team of SAMU for Service Ambulatoire de Medecine d'Urgence translating by mobile medical emergency ward ) If the doctor go outside in intervention for an emergency with their vehicule, there is nobody in the ward till they come back so they close the emergency ward. Sometimes they go out for hours in orders to transfert a person for a stroke or earth failure to another hospital (it could takes a while) or waiting for the helicopter to the landing area 3 miles away from the hospital (it takes a short time in this case). If you come during the day, you have to present yourself to the reception to know if there is the doctor or to be registred if he is physically present and not on the road in intervention. If the reception is closed and if you are in the hospital, you have to called by using the red phone attached on the wall near the automatic doors in the main entrance. If you come during the night, you need to use the interphone outside situated next to the automatic door of the main entrance or you can called the 112 with your mobile phone or the number 15 for emergency before coming to the hospital just to know if they are present in the hospital or if they are in intervention on an accident or wathever situation. But it's better to use the interphone if you are present. In france, if someone need to see a doctor in emergency (for example in the case of a heart failure, chest pain, stroke, car crash…), the SAMU (could be translate by Medical Mobile Emergency Ward) compose of the doctor and the nurse, must go out and as a consequence the emergency ward of the hospital need to close for the time of the intervention (but it's impossible to know when they come back). For being sure to see a doctor and avoid to wait too long, you can called before coming to the number 15 or 112 (112 with a cell phone) and the calling center is in relation in live with all SAMU teams. You just have to explain your symptoms before going the the hospital of the town morez (prononced morey), thus, you can also ask to the calling center if the doctor is present or not in the hospital and they could help you throught your calling to give you the name of another hospital if the emergency doctor will come back in a while to avoid to wait too long)
– radiology ward : ultrasonography is only the thursday for the moment, for standard radiography (X-ray), the ward is opening from de 8h30A.M to 7hP.M. there is no MRI and no CT-scan in this little local hospital. Standard X-ray only. The radiologist is physically present only the thursday. If you came in emergency the doctor of the emergency ward could see your X-ray and could call to another doctor such as a surgeon or a radiologist for having another point of view in case of complex case. »

Alors que le médecin du samu venez juste de m’appeler pour me confirmer qu’il m’attendait !! On marche sur la tête sérieux »
